McLaren on top: Romain, Hamilton and Button celebrate

Lewis Hamilton’s title hopes burst into life as he qualified on pole for the opening race of the season with a storming lap at Albert Park.

The 27-year-old fired in the 20th pole of his career to deny teammate Jenson Button by just one and half tenths in a thrilling three-part qualifying session.

McLaren celebrated a front row 1-2 lock-out for the first time since the European Grand Prix in 2009. And a new first for the pairing of British world champions.

More than anything, after three years of lacklustre starts, McLaren have finally appeared to have delivered a car capable of challenging for the title from the world ‘go’.

And it comes after months of speculation that their smooth nose design would be uncompetitive.

Rivals said the lack of a ridged platypus nose would cost them aerodynamically. But the McLaren, thus far, is not only the best looking car but the fastest too.

And more than that, the intense nature of the fight meant that its game on for the British duo.

From the schoolyard to the Internet from your room.

Many parents who claim to know the meanings of some of the words used by their children as 'Tuenti', 'myspace', 'live spaces' or 'facebook'. However, when asked about its meaning is limited to vague respond that "it is something related to Internet." All these terms refer to names of popular social networking and the young people participate actively.

This practice reflects the change of habits that adolescents have experienced in recent years are no longer fighting for watching TV in the lounge, discussed by the screen of your computer and, preferably, in the privacy of his room. With the phone holds the same pattern: it can not be said that young people spend the afternoon hooked to the device, but that control communication with all her friends over the Internet and through certain services known as social networks.

Las Fallas

Las fallas on Valencia is a traditional celebration held in commemoration of Saint Joseph in Valencia, Spain. The term Falles refers to both the celebration and the monuments created during the celebration. A number of towns in the Valencian Community have similar celebrations inspired by the original in Valencia.
Each neighbourhood of the city has an organized group of people, the Casal faller, that works all year long holding fundraising parties and dinners, usually featuring the famous specialty paella. Each casal faller produces a construction known as a falla which is eventually burnt. A casal faller is also known as a comissió fallera.

The first game, I play on defense. We won 6-1, against Sweden team, but it was play friendly.

The second game the last week, I play centre forward, we won 0-5 against Gurb.

In the March I play against Torello, where play Cristina Moral.

I hope will win the league, I think it's possible.

The pictures are from this last week in Gurb.

Hi!

My name is Karen. I'm in my early seventeen and I'm pretty high, with long dark hair and dark eyes. I play football every week and I go with my friends when I can. Sometimes in the weekend I go to Barcelona to visit my family and my friends to there.

You can see in the photo that I'm a happy person. I think that this is probably my best quality. I'd describe myself as fairly easy-going, thought I sometimes get angry about any kind of cruelty to people or animals.

I don't want to get involved in a serious relationship yet. I'd like to get to know someone and then see what happens, but now I'm very young.

Karen.

The new speed limit on Spanish highways goes into effect today and will remain in place until June 30.

Drivers' associations have said that the move will do little to improve road safety, and say that the government needs to think about increasing the limit above 120 km/h, such as in Germany and the Netherlands. Even the UK is talking about raising the limit to 128 km/h, or 80 mph.

The Spanish Royal Automobile Club, RACE, says it doubts that in itself, simply lowering the speed limit will do much to save fuel, and says that "education about responsible fuel use," along with measures to promote the use of public transport would make more sense.

The Catalan Royal Automobile Club describes the move as "incoherent," adding that introducing 30 km/h zones in cities will lead to more pollution and inefficient use of gasoline.

Meanwhile, critics of the move also point out that the measures will have no impact on car driving in cities, where public transport is still unable to meet demand, meaning that
many people prefer to sit in traffic jams than stand on crowded buses and trains.
